Previous day I noticed an interesting BlackBerry Storm app by Tafasa. This cool application PatternLock offers an interesting and fun way locking of your BlackBerry Storm.
Here is how Crackberry blog gives its intro:
The lock screen shows 9 dots in a 3×3 grid. Before using PatternLock, you define what your lock pattern will be. The next time you see the lock screen, you trace your finger in the pattern you defined before and your device will unlock. Any other pattern and in any other order will not unlock the device. The application allows you to either use the default wallpaper or to pick a different background image stored on your device. You can even set it to autolock the device whenever you turn it on. You can also set it to autolock when the device is inactive for a time period of your choosing.
This application does not replace normal locking mechanism of your Storm.You can assign this application to a hot key for easier access. Its icon is always there on home screen pressing which will lock your phone with your defined patterns. [ Note: if you intend to use the autolock feature, you should disable the built in BlackBerry automatic password lock as it will still lock your device (even if automatic PatternLock is enabled).
So be creative as you can to make difficult patterm and obviously don’t be predictive else you will like you have wasted some 2.99$

If you have the pattern lock and you can not remeber your pattern an easy way around that is to call your phone from a different phone go a head and answer your phone there u can get into your home screen and go to options and choose pattern lock and rest pattern to something u remember! Make it something easy cause remember as soon as u hang up the phone will relock!

my phone is locked even while im on the phone. so what do i do?
Yeah I cant do that from my phone. I have the storm 2..I called it and answered and its still on the lock screen…omg this sucks soooo bad!!! HELP!
