Customize Your Reebok Shoes with iPhone App

Many footwear companies like Nike have offered shoes customization option on their websites but Reebok went a step ahead to be well inline with the growing trends. Reebok along with Inside Mobile folks have launched an iPhone app titled “Your Reebok”. Your Reebok allows you to modify and customize the look of a number of Reebok shoes/trainers. The basic choices include The Freestyle, The Classic Leather, and The Ventilator to which you can make 23 area changes, 19 color changes, choose between four different materials, and add your own text to the shoes. Not only this the designs can either be shared with friends or the whole world direct from the application. Friends will be sent an e-mail link to your design but to go one-step further simply select ‘share with the world’ and the design will be geo-tagged and added to the Your Reebok global community map. From here all the other shared designs can be viewed and either bought or used as a canvas for customization.

The price of the customized Reebok will cost somewhere between $12o-180. At the moment, the app is only available in the US and UK, but plans are in the works to expand the release to Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria and Ireland.
