VideoLan’s VLC Media Player, has released the 1.0 version very recently. Remember that VLC is open source media player solution that never disappoints you when it comes to playing any media file.
What’s new?

- finer speed controls,
- customizable toolbars,
- AirTunes streaming, and much more.
Some of the new supported formats of VLC AES3, Blu-Ray Linear PCM, Raw Dirac, and other expensive-sounding codecs . Video scaling in full screen is another good feature. You can read the complete list of VLC’s features at its home page.
