Has it ever happened to you that you forget your USB flash drive after using it on any computer? Since some computers have the USB slots at the backside of the computer, users tend to forget it once they are done with the job. In such cases, it might cause a lot of data lost or even the chances of not finding the USB flash drive at all are high. To solve such problems, i recently came across a very small yet handy software for this job. FlashRecall can help us in such situations as all it will do is to beep after some time using the mother board speaker and also pop out a small window on the desktop. The pop up windows looks like the one shown in the picture here.
The pop up windows displays some useful information like status, drive letter, serial number, and free space left on the USB drive. FlashRecall can also be used with flash cards such as Sony or SD memory sticks that come with various digital cameras.
The FlashRecall works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003/2008, and Windows 7. Both installer and portable versions are available
