Overview:
iPhone 3G Gold is adorned in 22-karat solid gold and precious stems. The gold encased iPhone sports a 53 VVS1 diamonds encrusted Apple logo. The brain behind the phone is designer Stuart Huges who has almost recreated the original body of the 3G iPhone in pure gold. The 3G solid gold iPhone packs all the regular iPhone features with a 320 by 480 touchscreen. Available in 16 GB model only, the phone has Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11b, WLAN 802.11g and built-in 2 megapixel camera.
It has a talk time of 10 hours and a stand by time of 300 hours. Besides all other specs are the same as that of an iphone.
Price:
The gold-coated iPhone 3G can be bought for a whooping $ 35,450/- (Indian Rs 1,692,915) from Stuart Hughes official site. The best news is that phone’s unlocked version is also available for support for all networks around the globe. But if you thought this is the most expensive 3G iPhone, you got it wrong. Earlier this year in March, Austrian jeweler Peter Aloisson crafted the 3G iPhone using solid 18-carat gold and 6.6 carat diamond.
The model is reportedly be the most expensive phone in the world, dethroning Goldvish Le million costing $1.3 million which till now held the title of world’s most expensive phone. The phone is made up of solid 18 carat yellow gold, white gold and rose gold with the white gold line encrusted with a total of 138 brilliant cut diamonds.
iPhone 3G King’s Button replaces the iPhone’s standard plastic home button with a rare 6.6 carat diamond. The estimated value for the King Button is $2,517,345. The phone packs same features as present in the 3G iPhone.
