by MJK on May 24, 2009

This post is the 100th blog post on TechNama. Today TN got 28 days old and its performance is better then our expectations. In the first 27 days, our team posted 99 quality blog posts which covered a diverse range of topics. Below are some of the highlights of TN performance which we would like to share with our readers.  We have also specially created the TechNama category to constantly interact with our readers and share with them our success story. We strongly expect you to share your experience with TN and let us know about your feedback since our main goal is to have a two way flow of communication and hence satisfied readers.

A total of 170 comments and pingbacks were made and out of those 110 were approved. The other 60 were categorized as Spam. We will keep moderating comments just because we want to ensure that only relevant comments appear on the site and duplications and other irrelevent discussions are kept out of the platform.

Total Unique Visitors: 5094

Total unique visitors at TN is 5094.  On an average 189 people visited the site daily. On another scale, we can count 51 unique visitors per blog post in the first 27 days. This number includes three days of down period that we faced because of the shifting of our server to our current host.  Still the performance is better then our initial expectations but our target is to increase it to a new level of 600 daily unique visitors in the coming month inshAllah. By the way our current daily unique visitors have already crossed 450 and they are increasing every day to set a new record.

Total Pageviews: 24963

A total of 24963 pages were viewed by our readers and its a very encouraging sign that on an average every visitor read 4.9 pages on TN. The higher number of pageviews shows that our readers are very well satisfied with their landing article and hence tried to explore other pages on the TechNama.

Ads Revenue by TN: ???

Of course you don’t expect  me to share the exact amount. I learned this technique from ProBlogger so if you really want me to share our earnings, first convince ProBlogger to share his earning and we will follow! However, we will share the fact that currently we are only earning from Google Adsense and it did get us few dollars (in tens and not hundreds). One thing that i will surely point out is that TN earning per click is very high for the first month. Lets see how it turns out in the seond month since we have also now displayed Chitika ads on a test basis. If we find them a good alternative to our search engine based traffic, we will keep Chitika other we will remove them. Our direct visitors will not see the Chitika Ads since they are only for the search engine based visitors and that only from US and Canada.

Concluding Remarks and Short Goal for the Monty of June, 2009

We will write our next blog post either after the completion of the second month of TechNama or on the completion of our 2oo blog posts. Till date we are doing very well but the most important indicator for us is the interest of our readers in our site. We really look forward to keep them engaged and to provide them with the quality information, tips, tricks and reviews. We also expect your constant feedback and comments.

We expect to double our unique visitors as well as our pageviews in the coming month of June, 2009 by posting more interesting posts. In case you want us to write on any specific topic, please share it with us. We will surely give it a try and if we find it suitable for TN, we will write on it.  If you read this post till this moment, you are surely one of our most loyal reader and we would like to say:

“Thank you for your Trust and Confidence in TN and we hope to keep your satisfied with our posts. You are always welcome for your feedback and comments”.
