Ubuntu Themes: 61 Awesome Themes for Linux

To be honest, i will not claim i am a fan of Ubuntu and that i have installed it on my home or personal pc but since i observed that there is a lot of our users taking interest in our articles with the key word of “Linux” or “Ubuntu” so i decided to find some cool Ubuntu/Gnome themes and make them available for our readers. I must confess i love cool themes, wallpapers and other things that feels good on the user eyes. We have also earlier compiled a list of 37 Best Windows 7 Themes for our readers as well 30 Awesome Windows 7 Themes

These themes are taken from Gnome look and you can see their screenshot and find the downland link next to it. If you come across any other cool themes, feel free to let us know and we will make theme available here so that everyone can benefit from them.

I happen to be downloading the new Kubuntu, which is the KDE version of Ubuntu. You really otta give er a shot and install Linux. At least dual boot. Just setup a 10gig partition to do it.

Nice themes here, second one down is cool!

Several of these themes are for OpenBox, not GNOME. Just a heads-up.

The mac style one: its minimize close and so on are on the usual side, unlike the picture

I wish someone would write a new commercial (I’m a Linux, I’m a Mac, and I’m a Windows)…

Linux needs to be introduced to the general public a lot more!

Hi, I am a very fan of gnu/linux and actually I am using Ubuntu 9.10.

Now a I was looking for a new theme, and I wish change, search on google and I find this place.

But looking the Aweson Themes, sincery this themes are the same, with some bit change, they are uggly. I dont know why GNOME make more customisable.

very nice themes……i like those,because those are very good and may be it will help me in my project internal,because my director see our project only on linux.and my project is not working on that due to database connectivity….i think these themes will help me to my director fool….
because i will show him my project on windows 7 but changing the theme which looks like linux.

Wow… my laptop broke and i got a new computer… a nice one for $300.00 but anyways, we got it a new HDD and i am going to install ubuntu and give it to my sister, who wanted a mac, now i have a mac theme! Thank you so much!!!

There’s no such thing as an “Ubuntu theme”. These are Gnome/GTK themes and should work on any distribution.
