Google is facing another embarrassing moment today as it has been disclosed that Android logo has been copied from the 90′s arcade game on Atari called “Gauntlet – The Third Encounter“. The irony of the fact is that the name is also same and hence it leaves very less room for doubt that the logo and the name were both copied from there. Developed and published by Atari Games in the 1990 for the Atari Lynx, Gauntlet is considered as one of the most popular multiplayer arcade role-playing game of that time.
Just look at the resemblance between the two in the image given below and reach your own judgment! I am sure you will also blame Android for cheating and copying!
I wonder how Android team will justify this?

resemblance? yes – stealing? no.
android logo also looks like r2d2 from star wars.
I looks nothing like R2D2. It has eyes, antennae, bipod legs and arms.
Definition of obnosis: The observation of the obvious.
It’s an obvious steal beyond a shadow of a doubt whatsoever.
Yeah, it’s “stealing beyond a shadow of a doubt whatsoever”, except if you work as an intellectual property litigator or judge who can see numerous, considerable differences between the two such as:
longer curved antennae -vs- short straight antennae
legs with feet -vs- stumps
eyes closer together -vs- eyes wide apart
full body being the face -vs- body seperated
white and blue -vs- green
arms with hands -vs- stumps
Enjoy your non-controversy. Thanx for the lulz. xD
