by dave on July 15, 2010

Apple has called a short-notice press conference on 16th of July at 10 AM PDT (See your time here). Most of the Apple analysts believe that this press conference will put Apple’s response to uproar on network signals dropped when you hold the iPhone 4 in a specific way. The antenna issue got serious when Consumer Reports published a no recommendation for iPhone 4 after conducting test at their labs.

Lets see what Apple says on this issue…there are also rumors that Apple may recall the iPhone 4. In any case we will be having a close eye on all this and will update the outcome. So stay tuned!

UPDATE: Apple’s one and a half hour session has ended, where they announced free cases for all iphone 4 buyers as a solution. Read the summary of press conference here

Hi, you guys with sites that are read by people around the world, have to be used to express yourselves using international standards: hours in GMT and measures in cm, meters, kilograms, etc.

Unless you don’t want your site to be read by foreigners.

Everybody knows how to convert hours in GMT, but WTF is PDT?

Agars buddy, I trust Mike was right. Greenwich has been used a standard for centuries and this was used in the colonies which is still followed there. I, for one, take less time in calculating time from GMT to my country’s(Pakistan’s) standard time.. :)
