So you want to buy White iPhone 4? but 2 weeks after Steven P. Jobs, the chief executive of Apple, promised that the already delayed white iPhone 4 would be available by the end of July, Apple said that the device would be delayed again.
So why this delay? are they still sorting out the much debated Antenna problem? or are they still happy with the sale of Black iPhone 4 and are making the white iPhone more and more exclusive ! i dont know, but it seems to be Apple is desperately trying to release a 100% error free iPhone. Could be any of the following reasons;
- Antenna problems may be causing the delay.
- They are most probably waiting for the holiday season and make white iphone 4 the special gift of the christmas ! Oh looks its white just like snow?
- Manufacturing problems ! besides the antenna thing, since Apple has been mentioning that they are facing problems.
- Adding more features? (though the most un-likely possibility) would be happy if they release an issue free phone.
- Also could be the reason that the demand for white iPhone is much higher than they anticipated. They don’t want to ship them in dribs and drabs. They want to have a large number of units to satisfy customers’ need all at once.
Tina Tang an analyst with iSuppli gives market forces a mention;
“It may be that they are not running the production lines in parallel. They have to fulfill demand for the black ones first. It can also be that materials are not ready (referring to the glass for white iPhone)”
Anyways, where ever this white iPhone is available we would make sure to bring it to you here on Technama. For the moment you have to contend with the Black one.

Look no matter what Apple does they will continue to dig their own grave. I mean it does have some great features but white or not the iPhone 4 has major design flaws. Design should never come before function and usability. Apple seems to have forgotten that.
I mean the iPhone 4 held the number one spot in the top ten ranking on pc world. Once Apple gave that press conference they took it down with out explanation.
