Call of Duty’s Killstreak Rewards first introduced in Modern Warfare 1 allowed player to automatically activate ‘Bonuses’ that were awarded for stringing together a number of kills without dying. In later games it become manual and the player got to chose from a number of supporting goodies.
In Modern Warfare 1 , the player was rewarded with UAV upon achieving three kills, air bombardment at 5 and an attacking chopper at 7 kills. In World at War also it was automatic selection more or the same like Modern Warfare 1. At 3 kills Recon Plance was awarded, at 5 kills Artillery Strike and at 7 kills dogs from hell were unleashed. In Modern Warfare 2 player was given a choice from a list of kill streak rewards. It ranged from simple UAV to Tactical Nuke and in between you had at your disposal choppers, airstrikes, Predator Missiles and Sentry Guns. So what do we expect from Blackops?
Well we already know Spy RC-XD vehicle is going to be one of the rewards as was showcased in the Multiplayer Trailer. Also Killstreaks will no longer contribute to higher killstreaks like in previous titles, meaning that the player must kill the required number of enemies themselves.

- 3 Kills – Spy Plane
- 3 Kills – RC-XD (RC bomb)
- 4 Kills – Counter Spy Plane
- 4 Kills – SAM Turret
- 5 Kills – Care Package
- 5 Kills – Napalm Strike
- 6 Kills – Sentry Gun
- 6 Kills – Mortar Team
- 7 Kills – Attack Helicopter
- 7 Kills – Valkyrie Rockets
- 8 Kills – Blackbird
- 8 Kills – “Rolling Thunder”
- 9 Kills – Chopper Gunner
- 11 Kills – Attack Dogs
- 11 Kills – Gunship

why do we not have a nuke kill streak! That is what people play the game for. If there is no nuke I do not know if people will buy the game, I am on the edge about buying Black Ops because there is no NUKE!
Trevor, Treyarch stand on this is that they don’t want kill streak that would end the game. i.e. someone else might be having a good kill streak going on, someone who just joined etc.
Im also dispointed at this. I mean there are some players who love this games just to get the nuke and play it as a challenge mode.
well i still believe that they need to have a nuke. A lot of kids at my school will not buy the game if there is no nuke. They said they would play Halo Reach, so im just saying you might want to get the nuke inserted as a kill streak.

I would put the nuke in I am actually 18 years old and I am talking about the kids in my high school.
So I’ll end this dispute. The niuke was by far the best part of Mw2, given that Mw2 was just horrilbe in every way, OP guns, Hacks, Weak-ass guns, and the Fucking UMP45. I was amazing at Mw2 with a 1.64kd and over 70 nukes by the time I just stopped palying becaus eit was garbage. I ONLY played for Nukes. BUt seeing as Black ops will be the greatest thing to be played in the long line of Call of duty, there will be no need for a Nuke-Like-Killsterak, therefore, stop complaining. And there’s Zombies. Get some.
I honestly believe that this game will be just fine without the NUKE killstreak reward. It prevents obnoxious nubes from nuke boosting and also promots more of a team effort to win the game.

I am dissapointed that the killstreak rewards do not count towards your current streak how ever for the nuke i am pleased to see it go it was very annoying to have to end the game early because some kid found a camping spot is boosting or maybe is just good at the game

man its to boring with nuke and it just sucks why should you boost or camp for a nuke that ends the game….. -_- your playing for fun not serious **** just accept and call of duty is just a great game even without crappy nuke get a life just buy it and we see if you love it

How do I get my 2nd player on split screen multiplayer to be able to use killstreaks?
i would like to know how to activate the kill streaks for player 2 when playin multi player slpit screen, what is the point of only 1 player being able to gain the kill streaks
