Most of the users of iPhone would have observed that people have customized the operator name on the right top of your iPhone screen with their own names or nicks. For example, if you are a user of AT&T and you want to remove it to put your own name there, you can easily do it in few steps with the app called MakeitMine.
Here are few steps to achieve this task:
Installation:
Step 1: On your jailbroken iPhone, launch the Cydia and press the search tab.
Step 2: Once inside the Search tab, write “MakeitMine” and press on Search. The Cydia store will come up with the application called MakeitMine. Now press Install to install the application. Once installed an icon will appear on your SpringBoard for it.
Step 3: Now click on “Banner” at the top right and enter your text that you want to display there. You can also click on “Carrier” at the top left and enter your own text that you want to display instead of the “Operator Name”.
Step 4: Done! Damn it was too easy! Now even if you delete the application MakeitMine, the text will remain there even if you jailbreak your iPhone again and again.
I hope you like this post. In case you have any other application, you can drop us a comment and we will cover it in our next post as well.
