Firefox has released an official beta for the upcoming version- Firefox 4. Last week there were some unofficial downloads but it has officially hit the Mozilla servers.
As we reported last week, the new beta is a redesign for visual aspect along with few performance boosters with an interesting highlight of HD video support, and yeah HTML 5. Here are the features for the new beta:
New Features in 4.0:
-Firefox 4 Beta includes an updated Windows interface that’s more sleeker.
-Tabs are given top visual priority for more efficient and intuitive browsing just like Chrome
-New Add-ons manager to manage your add-ons and discover new options for personalizing your browsing.
-WebM video support so you can watch open HD quality video.
-HTML 5, Privacy, and CSS support.
Coming soon features:
-Sync all your passwords, bookmarks, and settings across devices
-Faster Firefox
-The flashy new sleek UI is not currently available in the current Mac and Linux beta release so stay tuned.
