Firefox has just released its latest version of the famous browser Firefox 3.6.8. The new version comes just days after the release of Firefox 3.6.7. The quick release of the new version indicates that there was a serious flaw in the previous version which the developer team came across and hence fixed it. So to confirm my feelings, i had to go directly to the Release Note for Firefox 3.6.8. However, the Firefox team has declined to share much details but i am sure we can always read between the lines. Here is what the Release Notes say:
Firefox 3.6.8 fixes the following issues found in previous versions of Firefox 3.6:
Fixed a single stability issue affecting some pages containing plugins.
Now the issue was something related to the overall stability of the last version and hence needed a quick fix. Confirming our feeling of some major issue. Therefore, we recommend it to our users to kindly upgrade as soon as possible. If you are a existing firefox user, it will automatically ask you to update it to the latest version. However, those who are new to it can download it from the Firefox Official Website.
