Nokia flagship mobile N97 firmware has just been updated from its previous version 21.0.45 to its latest version 22.0.110. The update is currently available through OTA download from your Nokia N97 handsets. The new version has small improvements and removed the bugs. How to Update Nokia N97 Firmware to 22.0.110
Type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Now go and select Options. Once done, check for updates and follow the on screen prompts as they will guide you through the rest of the process. Firmware can also be updated through the NSU (Nokia Software Updater) and or Nokia Ovi Suite on your PC.
All you have to do is to plug in your device to your pc, select the Nokia PC Suite option and ensure that the phone has its Sim Card inserted and the profile is set to General one. N97 mini supports UDP (User Data Preservation) will preserve all your data and content on your device during these updates.

Some times we cannot open the menu unless we restart the phone.
Phone hangs occassionally and we ofcourse need to restart.
I did a hard reset on my N97 before the upgrade and then installed the update.
Still we cannot edit the contact labels. GOK when these features are available in N97.
