Samsung Galaxy S GPS fix coming in September

Carla Saavedra, Web Product Analyst for Samsung Mobile Support, tweeted that a GPS fix for Samsung Galaxy S devices is coming up in September.Galaxy S and its variants have seen lots of complaints that GPS produces lot of inaccurate readings. There are lots of problems with the current GPS software at Galaxy S.

The internal GPS is more often slow to get a satellite fix, but when finally it is obtained, the location reported to the handset is often wrong sometime few streets away and sometimes it even throws you towns away from your current location. For all the good, Samsung is aware of this GPS problem are in the process of testing a software fix. Here is the tweet:
