Great News for the fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R franchise as GSC Game world has announced Stalkers 2 will be landing in 2012. The title is expected to be released across multiple platforms in 2012.
GSC was involved in publishing the last two sequals S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, however STALKER 2 will surely be its biggest project. The details at this point are obviously minimal however GSC CEO did have a few words to say;
After the official sales of the series exceeded 4 million copies worldwide, we had no doubts left to start creating a new big game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. This will be the next chapter of the mega-popular game players expect from us
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will utilize “completely new multi-platform technology,” which could indicate an innovative departure from the previously PC-exclusive franchise.
