People with hectic and demanding lives will definitely find Task Aware iPhone app very useful. This app is basically a productivity schedule organizer developed by Nino D’Aversa specifically for the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4. What makes this app different compared to other productivity organizer apps is that it has some interesting features including location tracking, task recording and mapping.
After downloading and launching Task Aware users may be a bit confused since the start up lay out contain no explanation about the app itself. The buttons or tabs are not labeled with its specific function. Basically the only way to understand the functions of this app is to go ahead and create a new task and only then users will start to understand. Essentially located on the upper part of the screen is the user’s list organization and the second line of tabs located at the lower part of the screen is to show or reveal specific tasks based on its completion.
When users create a new task, organizing it based on various different categories is quite simple and user friendly. The management of each task can be edited based on the importance of the test, its due date, the location of the task with a unique “Nearby” notification and additional notes. After creating several tasks the app becomes very organized and clear.
One of the most useful features of Task Aware is the “Nearby” notification. Basically, when a user has a task with a certain location to it, like the grocery store to buy some bread and the user moves around the vicinity of the specified location, the app will automatically notify the user to ensure they do not forget the task. This app can be quite useful for forgetful people but on the other hand it will certainly drain your iPhone’s battery life since the GPS locator is constantly on. Another excellent feature of this app is that users can map out their entire task list to have a better understanding of which test to complete first. Also a very convenient feature is that users can directly transfer addresses from their Contact list which can be quite useful for people users regular have plans with.
Users can download this app from the app store for $4.99. This may be a bit of money for just a productivity app but some people will definitely find it quite useful. One thing is for sure that this app definitely beats the default “Notes” app pre-installed in each iPhone. People with hectic schedules or just constantly forgetful will definitely enjoy this app.

LocaList is a similar app for the iPhone – laid out very similar to a standard to-do list except with a location attached to it for notification.
