Social networking never gets better… after Foursquare and Gowalla, now to hit the crowd is Toodalu.com. This too is a location based social networking site which keeps your friends informed where you are or vice versa.
Toodalu aims to “Find your friends and dodge your enemies”
Making calls to friends or texting them seem so outdated now since all you have to do is log on to Toodalu, build your own social network of friends and families and let everyone know where your headed too, basically the service caters to the younger lot, who love to go out on weekends and have fun while making plans on the go.
Toodalu actually maps out your location on your phone so that your friends know where you are and they can follow you there, making plans was never so cool.
You also have the option to find out about the various hip locations in town or other places where your travelling to.
Toodalu requires GPS in your phone however if you don’t have it just create it, after signing in link it to facebook or twitter friends and all your friends and family will know where you are. Currently toodalu’s service is available for iPhone users and its free, however they plan to they take it further to other platforms.
The only thing it lacks right now is the number of users it has, if you want to be a part of it, start sending invitations to your friends and become a part of it.
