[Unlock iPhone]Blacksn0w RC2 has been released for iOS 4. Note that, the recent release of Blacksn0w RC2 has been sort of repackaged based upon the Geohot’s original unlock tool + the binaries which were released by MSFT Guy for iPhone 3GS baseband 05.11.07, running iOS 4 GM.
The following unlocking guide is only for iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.0 baseband 05.11.07. This is little buggy, A 3GS boots to cell connections established in about 90 seconds in iOS 4 now (50% slower than 3.1.X). Here is an official statement of the package:

This is an unofficial release but Geohot has given me permission to redistribute blacksn0w. All know issues with WiFi loss and boot loops seem to be fixed. If it doesn’t work for some reason, you should still get the SpringBoard. This allows you to uninstall if necessary. It is a little slower to boot because of the increased safety of the release. A 3GS boots to cell connection established in about 90 seconds in iOS 4 now (50% slower than 3.1.X).
Here is the stepwise guide to Unlock iOS 4 with Blacksnow RC2:
- First upjailbreak your iPhone using PwangeTool
- After successful Jailbreak start “Cydia” on your iPhone.
- Next, tap “Manage” tab at the bottom and then click “Sources”
- Next up tap, “Edit”
- Then tap “Add” button. (This will prompt you to enter a URL source)
- Here type “http://cydia.pushfix.info ” and tap on “Add Source”
- Now Cydia will start automatically updating your sources. After successful installation, search for “blacksn0w RC2 for iOS 4” in Cydia and install it.
- This will automatically unlock your iPhone 3GS and now you can use it with any SIM
- Last but not the least; just restart your phone and anxiously wait
for one and a half minute as told by the official statement to for your phone to catch new signals 
. With this you will have a fully unlocked iPhone 3GS on iOS4
