Comex Will Join Apple Very Soon – Developer of JailbreakMe And Spirit

It is impossible that any person using any of Apple devices is unaware of the famous iPhone jailbreaker, Nicholas Allegra a.k.a Comex. This is the guy behind so many successful jailreaking tools like Spirit and JailbreakMe. The news of the day is that Apple have hired Comex to work for the company. This news raise so many questions in mind and indeed a very sad news for jailbreaking community as if Comex will not work for jailbreak community then it will be a great loss for them. In his recent tweets, Comex wrote that he has bored with all jailbreaking stuff and will join Apple very soon. MuscleNerd also congrats him and wished him best of luck.

It’s been really, really fun, but it’s also been a while and I’ve been getting bored.

So, the week after next I will be starting an internship with Apple.

Comex actually started his work with Jailbreaking community from March 2010 by releasing his 1st untethered jailbreaking tool for iPhone 3GS called Spirit and then JailbreakMe 2.0 to untethered jailbreak tool for all devices on iOS 4 in August of same year. UP til now he remained so famous due to his work for jailbreak community but know scenario may be bit different in future.

This new raise some questions like what if he fixes all the vulnerabilities in upcoming iOS and all jailbreakers get fail in jailbreking the iOS 5? What if no further iOS will be able to jailbreak? Someone said very well that the one who can make things can also spoil them. Same is the case here that comex know very well that what are the vulnerabilities and how to use them to make any jailbreaking software and now if he fix all those security holes then it will be so alarming for so many people.

We wish him best of luck but also pray that he keep the jailbreak community running.
