It is animated app and looks so cool although the study about the moon may look quite boring and dry but this app really attracts its user and provides so many information regarding moon in a very cool and eye catching user interface.
This app basically uses the GPS in order to show you the exact position of moon and yours as well. Your position will be shown in terms of longitudes and latitudes. As I said before, it is an animated app so the moon will change its position automatically as soon as the real moon will change its direction. All the other things like, moon phase, zodiac sign, dates will also change accordingly.
Pages Information:
As soon as you will launch this app, you will welcome with a screen having moon on the right side (which will be in exact position according to your location).moon is surrounded with basic information. You will find the normal date and time on the top and then location of moon. After that there will be moon phase and percentage of the shinning part of moon according to your location and sidereal zodiac, along with sidereal zodiac and below the picture of moon, you will find the time since moon rise, moon age and time until moonset. At the end of welcome page, you will see the Zenith, Moon rise time and Moose set time.
If you will slide the pages horizontally then you will find four main pages. Welcome page which I have described in above lines. whereas if you will slide the welcome page vertically then below the main page you will find more pages like Moon Day, Zodiac, Moon planting
2nd is the Calendar page which consist of the pictures of moon in whole month. You can also see the moon calendar of previous months or upcoming months. On taping on any of the moon you will see the moon age, zodiac sign and the percentage of the illuminated part of the moon. By taping on the button in the last, the moon calendar will switch in to a zodiac sign calendar. If you will click on any of the zodiac sign from calendar then you will be provided with the same information that was provided on click on any moon in the moon calendar.
3rd page is the Info page in which you will see the details regarding the main event of the moon calendar like new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter, and then again new moon. You will also see the corresponding dates and time. Apart from this info, in the lower half of the screen there will be information regarding Azimuth, age, distance and Ecliptic longitude and latitude.
4th page is regarding zodiac in which there is a pie chart showing tropical, sidereal as well as astronomical constellations and the location of the moon. You can know that which sign is matching with the current location of the moon.
5th and last page is Option page in which you will have control on the positioning, Date, Time and appearance.
On all the main pages except the Calendar one, you will also have a Question mark at the top right corner which will provide help of that particular page.
