The reputation of Apple has been damaged a lot in last last few days due to the location tracking issue. Two guys from Florida and New York also went to the court against the Apple for the same reason and at last today, Steve jobs gave the official statement about this issue. Apple didn’t roll out any update to fix the location tracking issue up til now but we are expected that Apple will soon release a new iOS probably by the name of iOS 4.3.3 in the next few weeks with some fixes. Remote location problem will be the most prominent one under the what’s new heading of the iOS 4.3.3.
Other possible features of iOS 4.3.3 will be as follow:
- Reduce the size of crowd-sources Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Delete all the cache memory when turning off the location tracker.
- Location data of just seven days will be stored instead of a whole year.
