iPhone dev team released redsn0w 0.9.6 RC13 just couple of hours ago to untethered jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and iPad running on iOS 4.3.2. It is also based on the same iOn1c exploit which was used to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.3.1. If you rely on unlocking and already using the Ultrasn0w then you should stay away from redsn0w 0.9.6 RC13 because it will update your basebands to the latest one which can not be unlocked at this time.
Necessary tools of the method:
- iTunes 10.2.2 installed on your computer.
- Download iOS 4.3.2 on your desktop
- DownloadRedsn0w 0.9.6RC13
STEP 1: First of all connect your iDevice with your computer via USB cable
STEP 2: If your idevice is not on iOS 4.3.2 then now update your device to iOS 4.3.2 by using the iTunes 10.2.2.
STEP 3: Now start the Redsn0w 4.3.2 and give a path to the iOS 4.3.2 ipsw that you downloaded before the STEP 1.
STEP 4: After the verification of ipsw, redsn0w will patch the kernel to make the custom iOS 4.3.2 for your device.
STEP 5: You will have list of options to select. Just click on the button “Next” after selecting the “Install Cydia” and “Enable battery Percentage”.
STEP 6: You will be instructed to switch off your device and connect with computer. Do it and click on “Next”.
STEP 7: Now you will have to put your device into DFU mode. Simply follow the onscreen instructions to do so.
STEP 8: Resn02 0.9.6 RC13 will automatically reboot your device and then will upload the latest ramdisk and kernel on your device.
STEP 9: Once all the automated process will complete, a “Done” message will appear on the screen. Simply click on “Button”.
STEP 10: You have successfully jailbroken your idevice on iOS 4.3.2 using redsn0w 0.9.6 RC 13.
