Wondering how to improve your typing skills amid the old, boring typing tutors. I found stumbling Z-Type game that actually is space shooting kind of game where words appear from top falling down and you have to type them all with speed and accuracy. Once you finish typing a word it fires/shoots the word down earning you points. If you are not a typing speedster, any word can fall down touching the firing base and the game is over.
The concept is simple and we all know how to play shooting games. This Z-Type game can come in handy for typing practice with all the fun of shooting game. The word sets appear in stages; once you clear a stage you move on to next stage (called wave) and obviously the level of difficulty increases with new wave. The higher difficulty level brings in more words along with increased falling speed of words. It gets difficult to pick words when the level increases with increased number of words and they all seem cluttered.
Anyways the game is all good to practice your typing skills and kill your boring office time showing your boss that you are typing hard to complete a report
