According to Piper Jaffray Analyst Gene Muster, Android is going to be a billion dollar baby in coming years. It could generate billion dollars in Android related advertising business by 2012. Google’s most successful project Android has already absorbed good amount of stake in worldwide market OS business. Presently, Google Engineers are working on upcoming Android Series next version ICE CREAM.

In a research note mentioned at Forbes Website, Munster asserts that Android generated $5.90 per use in mobile advertising in 2010; he observes the total increasing to $9.85 in 2012. He further adds that the Android Market app store could also boost monetization per user from in-app advertising over the next two years.

Tremendous growth in recent years is worth in terms of Android’s popularity in the global market. Android already beaten Nokia’s Symbian in the race of most used Smartphone OS. [click to continue…]
