FortiClient has finally launched their first free version of antivirus software. It has received alot of attention in the media as well as on blogs. The FortiClient Endpoint Security Suit is targeted at Home users and is expected to compete against the other free anti virus software available in the market. The best thing about the software is that it is just 11 MB and hence very easy to download and install. However, its first update takes a bit longer time then expected since it downloads most of the security updates later. So in case you don’t update it, you will end up having an anti virus system with obsolete definitions.
