The classic model of iPod supports the hard drives for the users who are willing to carry a larger music library with them. Apple upgraded the iPod classic in September of year 2009. That update was regarding the increase in size of the storage capacity from 120 GB to 160 GB. There were rumors that Apple may discontinue this device. Reuters reported in a Japanese newspaper that Toshiba is planning to spend $1.2 billion in a factory to manufacture small LCDs. This factory will initially supply LCDs to Apple for iPhone and other iOS devices. There are also reports from Apple of investing money in this project. [click to continue…]
